2,044 candidates to appear for HS TET in Barpeta district

BARPETA: The higher secondary TET will be held on January 10 in Barpeta district also along with the other parts of the State. Around 2,044 candidates will be appearing for the exam in four centres of the district. Among them, 436 candidates will appear in Madhab Choudhury College, 630 in B.H. College, 600 in Sarbhog Barnagar College and 422 will appear in Bhawanipur College for the examination. In this regard, a meeting was also held at Deputy Commissioner's conference hall chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta, Munindra Sarma. In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that the exam should be conducted in a smooth manner. Three circle officers have been assigned to conduct the examination smoothly. Nayanjyoti Bhagawati, subdivisional officer, Bajali, Santana Bora, ADC, and other officials were present in the meeting.
