DIBRUGARH: The 20th convocation of Dibrugarh University has been delayed to be held on June 28. The Governor of Assam and the Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Professor Jagdish Mukhi will confer the degrees to the eligible candidates. Further, Dr G Narahari Sastry, Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat will deliver the convocation address as the chief guest of the 20th convocation.
Dibrugarh University Registrar Prof Jiten Hazarika said that degrees will be conferred on the eligible candidates who qualified for their degrees of the University during the period from December 1, 2019 to May 10, 2022. However, for PhD qualified candidates the time period will be valid up to June 1, 2022.
Hazarika further informed that only the candidates who qualified for the Post Graduate, M Phil and PhD degrees have been invited to attend the convocation on June 28. The candidates who qualified for the other degrees will collect the certificates from their respective colleges and institutes later on.
