GUWAHATI: The 24th Battalion SSB Rangia is organizing a seven days Pre-Recruitment Training drive for the youths of the Indo-Bhutan border area from Sunday to July 2. Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly Biswajit Daimari graced the opening ceremony of the Pre-Recruitment Rally as the chief guest at VCDC Community Hall near Kawli market at Indo-Bhutan border area of Baksa district.

This is a far-sighted decision of the Government of India and Force Headquarters of Sashastra Seema Bal, New Delhi who envisaged to secure the country by enrolling educated unemployed youth of Indo-Bhutan border area into Central Armed Police Forces and decided to impart them seven days Pre-Recruitment Training to help them understand basics of recruitment rules and parameters. In this training session, Officers and subordinate Officers of 24th Bn SSB Rangia will give training to physically fit and eligible youths about basic minimum selection criteria in armed forces like height, weight, chest, running, high jump, long jump, relaxation to SC, ST & OBC communities, medical and written examinations etc. The training will be given at N.K. Darranga Bodo M.E School ,Gaiden Chowk and Nagapur M.E School, Bihangapur.
