24th Bn Shastra Seema Bal Rangia organizes civic action programme

RANGIA: Under the supervision of Deepak Singh, Commandant, 24th Bn SSB Rangia (Assam) on Thursday, a medical civic action programme (NE region) at Dangargaon-01 village. During the programme, Dr. Mahesh Choudhury, Assistant Commandant (Medical Officer) of 24th Bn SSB Rangia, Assam carried out medical examination and given medical treatment to the villagers and essential medicines have also been distributed among the villagers. 24th Bn SSB Rangia will arrange medical OPD camp for the bordering villagers on regular basis in future.

Besides, special training programmes like computer training courses, sewing-weaving, mushroom cultivation are also being conducted by 24th Bn SSB Rangia in order to develop the employment opportunities among the youths of the bordering area and various training programmes like beekeeping, pig/goat farming, home appliances and electric wiring etc. will be organized in the coming days. Awareness programmes like Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, lifestyle for environment, veterinary civic programme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, etc are also being organized in collaboration with the citizens of the bordering area by 24th Bn SSB Rangia (Assam), stated a press release.
