SARUPATHAR: Altogether 2,592 candidates will appear for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) this year in Dhansiri subdivision under Golaghat district. Among them, 1,187 are male and 1,405 are female candidates.
There are total six centres under Dhansiri subdivision and those are Sarupathar Higher Secondary School, Naojan Higher Secondary School, Chungajan High School, Angsha Jildoi Shyam High School, Barpathar Higher Secondary School and Gelabil High School.
In Sarupathar High School, total candidates who will be appearing is 522, in Naojan High School total candidates is 329, in Chungajan High School 235 candidates, in Angsha Jildoi Shyam High School 710 candidates, in Barpathar High School 453 candidates and in Gelabil High School total 343 candidates will be appearing.
According to report, CCTV monitoring of the centres is mandatory, two police personnel will be appointed in every centre, flying squads will be touring the centres and three officers have been given the charges for Dhansiri subdivision to supervise the respective examination centres. All forms of electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and calculators, have been banned for the candidates during the examination time.
The Additional District Magistrate has ordered (vide letter No. DMJ.2/2020-A) the authorities of Dhansiri subdivision not to use loud speakers from 8 pm to 6 am during the examination.
