25th Wangala Festival at Satgaon to be held next year

DONKAMUKAM: The Karbi Anglong A'chik (Garo) Cultural Society (KAACS) and the Garo Students' Union (GSU) Karbi Anglong zone held a joint meeting at the Garo Cultural Hall, Satgaon, West Karbi Anglong under the president ship of Niharson Sangma, president of KAACS.

In the meeting, they resolved to hold the 25th Wangala Festival at Satgaon from February 23 to February 25, 2021. The festival will be observed centrally but sub-committees have been formed. The 25th Wangala Festival was supposed to be held from November 5 to November 7 but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
