270 new COVID-19 cases in Tinsukia; Tally reached 1777

TINSUKIA: The COVID-19 in Tinsukia district has so far claimed 15 lives including Bidya Devi (62) of Sripuria Tinsukia with 270 COVID-19 positive cases being reported on Saturday and Sunday. While 140 cases were detected on Saturday, 130 cases so far have been reported on Sunday but likely to surge later in the evening as stated by Health officials. The total number of cases has risen to 1,777, however, a total of 1,147 persons have been released from the hospital.
