2nd Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma literary fest held at Gossaigaon

KOKRAJHAR: The 2nd Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Literary Festival was held on Saturday at Gossaigaon B Ed College commemorating the 84th death anniversary of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma by maintaining COVID-19 protocol.

As per the programme, the college flag was hoisted by the Principal of the college, Dr Ajit Boro followed by lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to Gurudev.

The 1st Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Best Student Award, 2021 was awarded to two candidates - Chandamita Nath, B Ed student 2020, and Nijwm Narzary, D El Ed 2020 student, for securing the highest mark. The award comprises a citation, Aronai and cash Rs 5,000. The festival magazine Fwrbw was released by Mahesh Brahma, Senior Inspector/auditor of Cooperative Societies Gossaigaon. Fifty betel nut plants were also planted in the college by all staff and guests.
