TINSUKIA: Talap police in Tinsukia district finally apprehended three out of four middlemen on Friday who were involved in illicit transportation of 16 youths from Chamguri and Gakhirbheti to Arunachal Pradesh for hard road construction work in deep terrain as bonded labourers.
Though they were rescued after three months of captivity, the kingpin along with his accomplices is absconding. A police team led by SI Kopil Chandra Das arrested three of them from different locations while Nitu Sarma still remains fugitive.
