3 more die of COVID in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Three persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Monday. They have been identified as Putuli Das (65), resident of Bishnu Rabha Path, Tezpur, Biju Dutta (30), resident of Namanigaon Rangapara and Sote Kumari (50), resident of Naharani TE, Balichang, who died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 190 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 12,087 tests were done across the district on Monday out of which 11,773 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 236 positive cases found, 227 cases were from RAT and 9 from RT-PCR.
