3 new COVID-19 positive cases confirmed in Kalaigaon

KALAIGAON: Three new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in Kalaigaon. This has increased the total number of COVID-19 cases in Kalaigaon to 5.

One doctor of the Kalaigaon Model Hospital tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. The doctor has been identified as Sheikh Chand Mahamd. The hospital has been declared as containment zone. According to Dr. B. Das, Deputy Superintend of Kalaigaon Model Hospital- the outdoor facility will be available for patient after three days. Moreover, one couple of Shingrimari near Kalaigaon town has been also tasted for COVID-19 positive in same time on Sunday. They have been identified as Shatabdi Majumdar and Swarup Majumdar.
