3 Women Thieves of Irani Group Arrested in Goalpara

GOALPARA: The Goalpara town police outpost has arrested three lady thieves of the suspected notorious ‘Irani’ thief group on Thursday evening who were taking shelter in the district and allegedly engaged in snatching gold chains and looting valuables especially from women. The police, after apprehension, have identified them as Surat Pachi, Karishma Pachi and Molin Pachi from the Katihar district of Bihar. ‘We have arrested them based on two complaints from the two local women from whom this group looted money and valuables by using innovative methods. They were apprehended when they were following aristocratic ladies in Goalpara town market as their new targets. The victims have identified the thieves’, informed Jiten Singha in-charge officer of town outpost.
