32 fresh COVID cases detected in Golaghat district

SARUPATHAR: Golaghat district reported 32 fresh COVID-19 cases at Bokakhat (18), at Kumarbondha Ali (6), at Missamora (3), in wards (3), in nursing home (1) and RTPCR (1) on Sunday, pushing the COVID tally in the district to 1,702, of which 874 were active cases and 10 had died till Sunday.

A total of 54,668 RAT had been done in the district while 21 had been discharged from hospital and two were under home isolation till Sunday. Meanwhile, the district had two containment zones till filing of this report. The Dhansiri subdivision administration has also published an order copy No. DCA. (Covid-19) 10/2021/307 to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Dhansiri subdivision under Golaghat district and a task force of magistrate and police team has been constituted. The magistrate will ensure strict compliance with all COVID SOPs and protocols laid down by the Government of Assam from time-to-time in coordination with local police officials and local VDPs. The task force must ensure strict compliance by all under their jurisdiction concerning social gatherings like marriages, cremations, religious functions and must conduct surprise checks and visits. The team will also conduct random visits to home isolated COVID-19 patients to ensure that home isolation protocols were followed by the patients and their families.
