38 more COVID-19 positive cases detected in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Within the last 24 hours, 38 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Sonitpur district, taking the total number of positive cases in the district to 360. The number of active cases is 272 who are currently undergoing treatment in various COVID-19 hospitals in the district. Among these patients, 88 were discharged.

However, following increase in positive cases, the district administration has declared 30 areas as containment zones in the district.
