40 kg rare species tortoise recovered from Hamdoi Pthar of Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A rare species of tortoise weighing 40 kg was recovered from Hamdoi Pthar of Golaghat on Wednesday. As per report, a large tortoise was seen at Hamdoi Pathar near Hamdoi Hotel by the employees of the hotel. They informed the forest officials. Later, the forest officials arrived on the spot and recovered the tortoise.
