42 fresh COVID cases detected in Sonitpur during the last 48 hours

TEZPUR: Total 42 COVID-19 cases were detected in Sonitpur during the last 48 hours, taking the total caseload in the district to 8,353 since May of last year till today. However, following increase in positive cases, the district administration has declared 19 areas as containment zones in the district.
