48 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Barpeta district

BARPETA: All total 48 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Barpeta district on Friday. In Barpeta circle office, three persons tested positive. In Barnagar circle office two people tested positive. A teacher of Sarbhog on quarantine duty and an assistant engineer of Barpeta development block named Nagen Talukdar tested positive. In Bajali SDC office four people, in Sarupeta outpost three police personnel, in Baghmara outpost one police personnel and a worker of Bhogdoi Dhaba tested COVID-19 positive. Two employees of Patacharkuchi petrol pump, one of Chenga petrol pump and one of Bhawanipur HP petrol pump tested positive. On the other hand, 13 persons in different quarantine centres tested positive.
