5 drug peddlers nabbed in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: The local villagers of Makum Langkashi, Bozaloni and Nagajan after a hot chase nabbed 5 drug peddlers including abusers at Langkashi Gaon on Thursday. The peddlers came to Langkhasi village for a deal in 2 bikes. The villagers recovered some suspected drugs, syringes and cash of Rs 50,000. They later handed over them to Langkashi PS in Tinsukia district and Bhadoi PS in Dibrugarh district. The apprehended peddlers and abusers have been identified as Git Ranjan Gogoi (19) of Doomdooma's Rupai Bijoynagar, Snagdha Hazarika (17), Jitu Buragohain (22) No 2 Kathalguri, Jintu Chetia (30) of Langkashi and Priyanku Moran (22).
