60 Power tillers to farmers distributed in Diphu

Diphu: The ceremonial distribution of 60 power tillers to farmers and cheques of Rs 5 lakh for martyrs’ families was held in the auditorium hall, Arboretum, Diphu where Tuliram Ronghang, KAAC CEM, was the chief guest.

MP Horensing Bey, KAAC deputy speaker Ritesh Enghi, Amarsing Tisso, EM I/c Agriculture and other dignitaries were also present. CEM Tuliram Ronghang said that the exact rate of power tiller was Rs 1,78,543, out of which each beneficiary had to contribute only Rs 35,710. In addition to this, he said that a total of 200 martyrs’ families would get Rs 5 lakh each.
