61 Bn SSB hosts Forest Festival in coordination with Dhansiri Forest Division, Udalguri

TANGLA: As a part of the ongoing forest festival held from July 1 to July 7, hosted by 61 Bn SSB Bhairabkunda, a mass afforestation drive was carried out at Dhansiri picnic spot in coordination with the Dhansiri Forest Division, Udalguri on Wednesday.

The event was attended as chief guest by deputy CEM of BTC and Udalguri MLA, Gobinda Chandra Basumatary, which was also graced by Dhansiri Forest Division, Udalguri, DFO, Dibakar Das. The programme was organized under the initiative of the Commandant 61 Bn SSB Bhairabkunda, Raj Kumar Xalxo. In the event where more than 100 SSB troops participated, more than 2,000 saplings were planted.
