7 Assam Bn NCC cadets to organize plantation drive in Kokrajhar

GUWAHATI: 7 Assam Bn NCC though based in Dhubri has temporarily moved to Kokrajhar and is planning to organize a massive tree plantation drive in Kokrajhar. In this regard, Col Niraj Bakshi, CO, 7 Assam Bn NCC held a meeting with Conservatory of Forest with a request for saplings to be planted by NCC cadets. The Conservator of Forest was magnanimous enough to provide one lakh saplings. He also requested the DC Kokrajhar and BTC secretary for assistance which they have agreed to provide for the task.
