71st Van Mahotsav Week kicks off in Hailakandi district

HAILAKANDI: The 71st Van Mahotsav Week kicked off in Hailakandi district with planting of saplings at different places on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner, Megh Nidhi Dahal and senior officials of the administration planted saplings at the Deputy Commissioner's office campus to mark the week-long event.

Plantation was also carried out at the road side of College Road in Hailakandi town in which Superintendent of Police, Pabindra Kumar Nath, Divisional Forest Officer, NH Mazumder, District BJP president and secretary and other leading citizens participated.
