72nd NCC Raising Day celebrated at Dakhin Nagsankar HS in Biswanath

JAMUGURIHAT: The 72nd NCC Raising Day was celebrated at Dakhin Nagsankar High School in Biswanath district on Saturday. Anjan Baskota, the NCC caretaker officer of the school hoisted the insigne followed by offering floral tribute.

Earthen lamps were lit by local social worker Ganga Dhakal and Parbati Sarma. NCC cadets of the school carried out a march past in presence of a huge gathering. A cultural and prize distribution programme was held with Lila Kanta Sarma, the headmaster of the school in the chair. Dr. Tilak Sarma, ANO of THB College, Jamugurihat attended the programme as an appointed speaker who briefed about 'The motto of NCC and its importance in character and leadership quality building.
