7th Bhairabkunda Tourism Festival kicks off in the Himalayan foothills of Assam

TANGLA: The 7th Bhairabkunda Tourism Festival sponsored by the Tourism department of BTC at the picturesque tri-junction of Bhairabkunda located in the Himalayan foothills of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan, kicked off from Tuesday and will continue till January 12 in Bhairabkunda, 24 km north of Udalguri town. The festival will witness people from Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan, besides people from other north-eastern States, take part. The festival will also witness various traditional folk dances of the indigenous communities along with cultural, sports and literary competitions. Bhojpuri queen Kalpana Patowary, singer Priyanka Bharali, Russian fire jugglers and dancers and celebrity anchor Yankee Parashar will be part of the festival.
