7th Economic Census fieldwork begins in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: The 7th Economic Census fieldwork has been launched in Tinsukia district as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India, stated a DIPR press release.

This time the Common Services Centres (CSC) have been engaged as IT platforms for data collection, validation, processing, and dissemination works. The data will be collected both in rural and urban areas by the field-level enumerators to be engaged by the CSCs. The Tinsukia district administration has appealed to all concerned to extend help and support to the field level enumerators when they visit for the collection of data in the greater interest of successful 7th Economic Census fieldwork.
