86 fresh COVID cases detected in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: A total of 86 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in Lakhimpur district on Thursday as per Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted across the district. On this day, the District Health Department conducted the RAT upon 1,013 people across the district. The detected cases were reported from North Lakhimpur Urban Hospital (4), Dhalpur BPHC (15), Bihpuriya BPHC (17), Naoboicha BPHC (11), Boginadi BPHC (16), Dhakuakhana BPHC (2) and Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital Respiratory Clinic (21). All these patients have been put to home quarantine.

On this day, the cumulative total of COVID-19 cases of the district has spiked to 9,652 with these fresh patients since April 4 of the last year. Out of them, 8,679 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals and home quarantine. There are 900 active cases in the district at present. On Thursday, five recovered patients were discharged from institutional isolation and 79 recovered patients were discharged from home isolation.
