92nd birth anniversary of prominent writer Sashi Sarma will be observed by Sashi Sarma Memorial Trust

NALBARI: The 92nd birth anniversary of prominent writer Sashi Sarma will be observed by the Sashi Sarma Memorial Trust on October 3 at Guwahati Press Club. Geeta Devi, on behalf of the Trust, stated that Prof. Dr Hiren Gohain will deliver a memorial speech on ‘Sashi Sarma’s life philosophy and his contribution’ on the day. Writer Abdul Mannan will also deliver a speech on ‘The personality and ideals of Sashi Sarma’. Senior state leader of the left wing, Hemen Das will release a selected collection of Sashi Sarma’s articles named ‘Dristi Aaru Darshan’.
