A day-long interpretation event of the Gita held in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The people of greater Joypur Pichala, Bhogpur under Narayanpur in Lakhimpur district on Saturday organized an interpretation event of the Gita. The day-long event was organized at Joypur-Pichala Namghar under the auspices of the village management committee led by president Atul Chandra Hazarika and secretary Babul Hazarika in a view to the amelioration of the society, attainment of world peace and to strengthen the bond of harmony among the people. Spiritual speakers Ranjit Kakati, Dilip Baruah and Bhupen Bordoloi took part in the event as the interpreters of the scriptures.
