A tribute to Kumud Chandra Bora

It’s really hard to accept your demise and the pain we are going through is really unbearable. From the day we were born till today, you have been a great influence in our life. Koka, you have always advised us to be better persons in every aspect of life. We will try our best to be like that.

It's really hard to accept your demise and the pain we are going through is really unbearable. From the day we were born till today, you have been a great influence in our life. Koka, you have always advised us to be better persons in every aspect of life. We will try our best to be like that.

Your contribution towards Assamese literature will always be remembered and indeed we are proud to be your grandchildren. You will be an inspiration to all of us for generations to come.

You used to tell us always "Olop bahiror kitap porhiba, kio noporha?" These words inspired us to cultivate the habit of reading books. You supported us in every decision we took. Also, you taught us many things about life, besides academics.

When we used to visit your home during festivals, the amount of love and care we received from you and Aita is unforgettable and we are really lucky to have grandparents like you both. Koka, with your blessings and the things you taught, we will go ahead in our life.
