Treasured moments with Borta

When the heart is full, words are few... Nonetheless, a tribute to Borta has to be penned. He has endeared himself to all. His personality encompasses a loving and understanding heart. He could recognize talents. He also goes out of the way to ensure that such persons can tap their potential.

A perfectionist to the core, he lived life on his own terms and to the full. Wherever required, Borta scouted out his path. In most of these instances, he left his mark on treks hitherto unexplored by any of his family members. His entrepreneurial vision coupled with a typical fervour for each new mission is to be seen to be believed.

He always had a caring word for each one of his family members. I remember how he always encouraged me to carry on my writings.

Borta was an avid lover of kitchen and flower gardens. He always made it a point to develop such a facility wherever he stayed. This pursuit was evident with respect to fishery, poultry, and duckery as well. A gourmet, Borta loved to cook exotic dishes that his guests relished. He always paid attention to minute details in any endeavor. That again ensured a delicate touch.

Borta’s words and diverse work will be the beacon light for all of us. His indomitable spirit and zest for life was evident till the last moments in the hospital on that fateful day. On the day of Borta’s Adya Shraddha today, we pray to the Almighty to rest his soul in peace.
