Dibrugarh: Car Turns Turtle After Hitting Electric Pole

DIBRUGARH: A Volkswagen car (AS-01-F-2234) was crashed into a roadside electric post near Chiring Chapori area in Dibrugarh on Sunday night. According to reports, Aditiya Kedia was driving the car when the car hit the electric post. The car turned turtle but Aditiya Kedia was saved and bore some injuries.

“Most of the accidents are happening due to the electric poles which comes in one third of the road after the expansion of the road but the electric poles were not shifted due to the negligence of the electric department,” alleged a resident.

Similarly, a pick-up van hit a electric post at Convoy road on Saturday. The pick-up van hit the electric poles which was covering one third of the road. “The concerned department should look into the matter and shift the electric poles. The electric poles are becoming dangerous for the people of Dibrugarh because most of the electric poles were not shifted which cause accidents,” said another resident.
