Aadhaar card seekers violate COVID protocol in Doomdooma

TINSUKIA: The Doomdooma Circle Office virtually is under siege since the past few days, not by protesters but by Aadhaar card seekers as Aadhar card has been made mandatory for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

People in hundreds gather in front of the office since early morning in violation of COVID protocol. Some women were even seen scaling the boundary wall to reach office premises. While the employees are worried of COVID infection, the situation is out of control. The locals told the media persons that hardly anyone was seen wearing masks, let alone maintain social distancing.
