Aam Aadmi Party holds joining programme in Morigaon

MORIGAON: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Morigaon district committee on Wednesday organized a joining programme in presence of the State committee coordinator, DrBhabenChoudhary and State committee spokesperson MadhurjyaSaikia and other members of the district committee.

BinaBordoloi, a senior citizen of the town, said that common people were facing hard times due to the sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities and the BJP-led State Government's failure to check the price hike.

Earlier, a felicitation programme was held which was conducted by the coordinator of Morigaon district committee, Dipankar Rajbongshi. In the meeting, DrNakulBarua, a senior citizen, along with seven persons of the district joined in AAP. Speaking on the occasion, State coordinator DrBhabenChoudhary said that the party was formed to solve the problems of common people. AAP will field candidates to contest in the upcoming Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) election as well as the assembly election, he said.
