AASU and Women’s Committee carried  out two-hour sit-in protest against CAA

Kokrajhar: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Women’s Committee on Saturday carried out a two-hour sit-in against CAA in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office in Kokrajhar town.

Around 100 activists of the AASU and Women’s Committee took park in the dharna displaying placards and banners and shouting slogans. The activists stated that CAA was against the Constitution of India and was a threat to the political, cultural, language and identity of the people of Assam.
