AASU, Doomdooma takes out bike rally against Citizenship Amendment Act

DOOMDOOMA: A bike rally against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was brought out by the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Doomdooma Regional Committee at Doomdooma from Tapoban to Rupaisiding on Monday. The AASU activists shouted slogans against CAA and demanded the repeal of the ‘communal’ Act in order to safeguard the social fabric of the country. In a statement, president Uttam Baruah and secretary Pratim Neog said that although the agitation programme had been relaxed in view of various examinations, it would be intensified soon.
