AASU launch Statewide protest against price hike in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: In response to a call by the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) to launch Statewide protest against spiraling prices of essential commodities, its Doomdooma Regional Committee burnt the effigies of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Supply Minister Phani Bhushan Chaudhury on Thursday at Doomdooma in front of the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and lodged their protest against steep rise of prices of petrol, diesel and other essential commodities.
