AASU organized Gana Satyagraha in protest against CAA at Demow

DEMOW: AASU and 30 ethnic organizations organized Gana Satyagraha in protest against CAA in Demow Public Playground on Wednesday. Aditya Sarma, AASU leader of Sivasagar district, paid tributes to the 5 martyrs who died in the protest. He said that the protest will continue until CAA is scrapped. Sarat Hazarika, Education Secretary of AASU in his speech slammed the State and Central governments. The Demow Anchalik Karmachari Parishad also protested against CAA on Wednesday. In the Gana Satyagraha programme, artistes, senior citizens and people from all walks of life were present.
