AASU sweeps Tinsukia College Students' Union polls

TINSUKIA: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) sponsored candidates swept Tinsukia College Students' Union (TCSU) election capturing major portfolios, including its president and general secretary, in a keenly contested election with ABVP sponsored candidates, the election of which was held on Wednesday.

Later, AASU took out a victory bike rally with newly-elected president Kalpajyoti Phukan, general secretary Mausam Gohain and other AASU-sponsored winners who were also felicitated at AASU's Anchalik office near Tinsukia College by Udip Borpatra, president, Nayan Jyoti Bezbaruah, secretary and other office bearers.
