NAGAON: In a joint venture, Assam Agriculture University and the State Agriculture Department organized a 15-day-long ‘self-financed input dealer training programme’ for the fourth time at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagaon from August 22. Hemendra Chandra Bhattacharya, former director of extension education, Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat and Vigyanguru of Daffodil College, Dr Hiranya Kr Bora, principal scientist of Nagaon Shillongani based Zonal Research Station, Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat and Ranjit Mishra Bhagawati, District Agriculture Officer, Hojai attended the inaugural session of the training programme as the chief resource persons.

Dr Niranjan Deka, Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagaon delivered the welcome address and also spoke on the essence of the programme for the input dealer of the middle Assam districts. The inaugural session of the training programme was initiated by Dipen Chandra Nath. Over 25 input dealers from Hojai district participated in the training programme.
