Academic and administrative audit held at Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College, Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA), a tool employed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to evaluate and accredit universities and colleges, was held at Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College, Golaghat. Prof GC Hazarika, Retired Professor of Dibrugarh University, and Prof. SC Kakoty, Professor of Dibrugarh University, having experience of conducting academic and administrative audits were the external evaluators. The audit began with an introduction of the evaluators by Principal Bipul Chandra Bhuyan, followed by a welcome address by the IQAC coordinator Palash Handique. PPT presentation of the college, IQAC, and departments was presented by the Principal, IQAC, and a representative from concerned departments, respectively. After each presentation, the evaluators presented their views and opinions along with their valuable suggestions.

The evaluators inspected the college building and campus and interacted with the departments, office staff, and administrative staff. At the exit meeting, evaluators were facilitated by the Principal, Vice-Principals Deepa Phukan Baruah, and Prasanta Bora, Bitul Dutta, UDA, and students' union body as a sign of appreciation from the college. Prof. GC Hazarika spoke on the role of academic and administrative audits in achieving quality excellence in higher education institutions.
