ACLA to celebrate birth anniversary of Dr. SR Ranganathan

GAURISAGAR: The Assam College Librarians' Association (ACLA) will celebrate the 129th birth anniversary of Dr SR Ranganathan, the father of Library Science in India, on August 12 in a befitting manner.

The programme will be observed through online platform (Zoom) and will be graced by Dr Narendra Lahkar, president of IASLIC-cum-advisor of ACLA, Dr. Sarat Borkataki, president of Assam College Principals' Council (ACPC and other dignitaries. Jeebendra Mohan Dev Sarma, reputed singer and college librarian, will perform a self-composed song dedicated to library profession. Mr. Srimonta Madhab Bora, President of ACLA; Dr Prasanta Kumar Deka, General Secretary, ACLA request all the book and library interested persons to participate the same.
