Active NSCN(IM) cadre apprehended in Makum

Tinsukia: Based on secret information, a joint operation by 3^rd Garhwal Rifles and Assam Police apprehended one active NSCN (IM) cadre in Makum under Tinsukia District on Friday.

The apprehended NSCN (IM) cadre was identified as Biswajit Pangey.

The 3^rd Garhwal Rifles and Assam Police had also recovered one 9mm pistol and 4 live ammunition from his possession.
