Additional DGBR visits Project Vartak in West Kamang and Tawang district

Tezpur: PKH Singh, ADG Border Roads visited project Vartak Tezpur recently. During the visit he inspected the ongoing works under Project Vartak in West Kamang and Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Chief Engineer K P Purushotaman, briefed him on various works under construction in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Thereafter he visited three Task Force under Project Vartak i.e. 14 Border Roads Task Force, 42 BRTF and 763 BRTF to take stock of the present ongoing works. All the three Task Force Commander also briefed the Additional DGBR about the respective sector and future plan of completion of various strategic road in their AOR. The Additional DGBR was satisfied with the progress of work presently undertaken by Project Vartak in the difficult and high altitude leading towards Chinese border. The Additional DGBR gave direction to Chief Engineer and all Commander Task Force to complete the roads under construction within laid down PDCs.
