Administration holds foot march in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: In view of the increasing number of COVID patients in Biswanath district, the district administration held foot march on Tuesday in Biswanath Chariali town and Chatiya to create awareness among people.

Assam Police and CRPF personnel took part in this foot march under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Pranab Kumar Sarmah, Superintendent of Police Ritul Das and SDO ( HQ) Biswajit Saikia. Till Monday, the total number of positive cases in the district was 6,826 while 65 people have lost their lives to the virus so far.
