TAMULPUR: Observing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav as 'Desh ki Hifajat, Desh ki Suraksha', the 64th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (Barama) organised a civic action programme (North East Region) at Nepali basti village and Daragoan along Indo-Bhutan Border on Friday. During this programme agricultural digging tools were distributed to 50 farmers and a medical and veterinary camp was also held. BTC executive member Ghanashyam Das participated in the programme as chief guest. Commandant Nand Kishore Tamta and Deputy Commandant Sandeep Poonia welcomed Executive Member of BTC Ghanshyam Das as chief guest in the programme.
