TANGLA: An ailing journalist, Dhaneswar Rabha, inhabitant of Kacharaital village near Kalaigaon of Udalguri district, who works for an Assamese daily, has made a fervent appeal to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma for lending support for his treatment. Rabha have been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), a medical condition also known as chronic kidney failure, describing the gradual loss of kidney function. He is currently undergoing dialysis twice a week. Rabha said, "I am looking forward to the Assam Government for aiding me for transplantation of kidney as doctors have advised me for the same."
