GUWAHATI: Out of the 15 films nominated from different parts of the world for the upcoming 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), 'Semkhor' a Dimasa film from Assam is also able to find its place.

The film is directed by Aimee Baruah, a renowned actor from the state.

The nine day long 52nd International Film Festival of India is going to be held in Goa from November20.

'Semkhor' is all set to compete with the films from Paraguay, Finland, Japan, Bangladesh, Romania etc.

Notably 'Semkhor' is the first film from Assam to be directed by a woman to get nominated for any International Film Festival.
