Air Marshal DK Patnaik visits Air Force Stations Tezpur and Missamari

TEZPUR: Air Marshal DK Patnaik Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command visited Air Force Station Tezpur from July 31 to August 3. He was received by Air Commodore DS Dangi, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tezpur.

The AOC-in-C was briefed about various operations being undertaken by the Station after which he reviewed the operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness. The Air Marshal interacted with personnel of the Station and urged them to keep pace with new technological advancements. He also stressed the need for enhancing their skills, maintain proficiency in all roles and to continue to excel in performing their duty with due diligence. He exhorted all air warriors to remain physically fit and mentally agile for operational readiness and be constantly vigilant to meet any security challenge that may arise.

The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief also inspected Air Force Station Missamari and No. 5 Tactical Air Centre and appreciated the efforts being put in by all personnel towards maintaining a high level of operational preparedness.
