Airports Authority of India announces non-stop flight to Delhi from Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: Airports Authority of India (AAI) is celebrating this year’s Independence Day by making passengers independent from taking one-stop to reach the national capital Delhi. AAI is delighted to announce the operation of Indigo flight with effect from Wednesday, stated a press release.

The flight is an Airbus A320, which has a passenger-carrying capacity of 186. With the introduction of this flight, passengers from Dibrugarh Airport can now fly non-stop to New Delhi.

Commencement of the flight was celebrated in the presence of Kaushal Kumar GM (CNS), AAI representing Regional Executive Director, North-Eastern Region, Sanjeev Jindal. Jindal conveyed his best wishes for the new operation, and also motivated various other airlines to begin operation from North Eastern Airports in order to strengthen the connectivity to North-East India with rest of the country. The occasion was also graced by the presence of Airport Director A Prakash, Airlines officials, CISF officers and all concerned stakeholders.
