AISNA North Eastern Zone president visits Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: All India Small Newspapers Association (AISNA) Assam State North Eastern Zone president Sanjeeb Narayan Das was warmly welcomed in Golaghat by a newspaper house called Janani Varta. A meeting was organized which was presided over by Makhan Lal Barohi.

The meeting was conducted by Soneshwar Barohi. He said that the only newspaper of the Tea Tribe, Janani Varta, is going on ups and downs but the house is working hard. Earlier prayers were offered to the people who lost their lives in the corona pandemic. Amit Nagori of the District Journalist Association felicitated the chief guest.

Das addressed by saying that anyone can commit mistake but important is to learn lessons from it. If mistakes are repeated again and again then it no longer remains mistake. Das assured to help the journalists in their problems to his best capacity.

He gave the responsibility of the association in Upper Assam to Makhan Lal Barohi and also praised the courage of Barohi to run a fortnightly newspaper with his pension money.
